We take a comprehensive, science-based (functional) approach that looks at the body from a functional perspective, instead of just looking at a pathology or diagnosis (or lack thereof). The goal is to evaluate a patient through case history study, including looking at the genetic template, laboratory analysis and in-house testing to determine how well the body is functioning and what areas need assistance. From there, we can create a custom clinical program that assesses the individual needs of the patient and outlines the how, what and why of meeting that person’s personal health goals.

We are committed to bringing you the best therapeutic technologies and clinical assessment tools available on the market today. Our office uses cutting-edge technologies and in-house testing to resolve our client’s complicated health concerns, such as Bio Impedance Analysis (BIA), Computerized Posturography Assessment (CAPS), Class IV Cold Laser, Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF). The list is virtually endless, though some of the common symptoms that we see across the board in our patients are issues with weight loss and weight gain, hormonal imbalances, fatigue, brain fog, mood irregularities, skin allergies, hair loss, poor sleep and cognitive decline. The approach we take is in evaluating all of our patients is to reveal the underlying physiological stressors that have created the symptoms the client is suffering with and address the source of that stress.

We do not participate with any insurances, but we are happy to provide you with an itemized receipt to submit to your insurance company for attempted reimbursement. All insurance coverage varies, depending on the type of coverage and the insurer and it is the sole responsibility of the patient to obtain reimbursement. However, we have found the HSA and FSA accounts are very agreeable to the types of services we provide.

Every program is tailored to the individual. For more complex health challenges, a more structured program is often needed. During your initial evaluation, Dr. Herbold will advise what approach to care he feels is most clinically appropriate for you and then you can decide what works best for yourself and your budget.

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. We also do not accept any appointment changes to be made through email. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, barring absolute emergency, and do not provide us with 24-hour notice, we do charge a missed appointment fee equal to 50% of the scheduled visit cost. Please let us know if you need to reschedule so that we can give your appointment slot to another patient who may need it.

No, Dr. Herbold is not a medical doctor, and therefore cannot adjust any of your prescriptions. Consult with your prescribing physician to change any medications.
